Pressler and Pressler Do Not Care About Fair Debt Collection Practices - Beware! Parsippany, New Jersey

This company is not legit.  This company needs to be investigated by the Feds and the State of New Jersey.

If you get any paperwork from them respond quickly or hire a lawyer.

I had a credit card debt which I had paid down to 2500.00 from 5000.00 when it went to them.  Before I knew it I had a judgement against me.  My lawyer worked out an arrangement for a 75.00/month payment.  I paid 13 months and then was hospitalized the week a payment was due.  Then the next month I couldn't pay it because of medical and rx bills.   The balance is about 1600.00.

They then levied my bank account because I was a total of 150.00 (2 months) behind.  Freezing my account doesn't get them any money any quicker.  

I have paid off 2 other credit cards and those companies worked with me, even to adjust the payment.  They sent statements every month and payoff letters at the end.  These were for amounts much greater than this account.  Pressler and Pressler absolutely will not even speak to me, so that I can continue making payments.  They are not playing by the rules.

They have now levied my bank account, which obviously won't get them any money any quicker.

The State of New Jersey needs to step in and rein these guys in as their tactics are harassing and terrifying to many of us here just trying to get by in a bad economic situation which most of us didn't cause.  They are animals for making too many good people feel like criminals.  They are just as bad as the preditor credit card companies they represent.
