Prestige Portraits have been ripping families off for years!!! They charge ridiculous prices. A lot of people have always complained but are not able to do anything because this is the company that a lot of schools require their students to use for the yearbook, so they don't have much choice.

Senior portraits are suppose to be special, a time where you can make a keepsake to remember that part of your life. Special does not mean more money!!! Schools who require seniors to use this company also use them for the underclassmen.

You can get the a package as an underclassman for not more than $50, where as a senior student is having to pay nearly $400 for that very same package!!! It is absolutely outrageous!!!

We are still in a recession!!! Families don't have money to waste!!! The discounts they offer aren't helping any. This is a nationwide company, they are not  going to lose any money if they lower their erroneous prices!!!

Prestige Portraits

It is now two years after this report was written and I was floored by the same EXPENSIVE Price for senior class pictures for the class of 2013 . Especially when my sophomore's pictures were from the same company for the same year at a small fraction of the cost. $50 vs $399-599.

The pictures were in a tux only no cap and gown and several head poses only. What a rip off because they are called SENIOR PICTURES. Parents need to express to the schools just how this company is holding families hostage when their children are seniors and charging this overly exorbitant prices.

It is so unfair, unreasonable, unnecessary and no discounts are offered at all.

My family is NOT ordering our son's senior pictures here since they are more than a year old by the same graduation rolls around. As another family suggested, we will use JCPenney Portrait studio for a currrent and reasonable priced pictures in a tuxedo.

Families please speak out to Prestige Protraits and your schools to tell them how wrong their pricing is in today's economy and more importantly they are just taking advantage of the title "senior class" pictures.
