In May '08, I found Preston Financial Group via a site called American Lending Group. A day after I applied online for a loan, Sr. Loan Consultant Jonathan Flemming called me and said that I was approved for a $5000 loan, but in order to get the loan, I had to wire the lender a "security deposit" of $771.92, which would later be applied to the repayment of my loan.

Once I did this, I called Jonathan back with the confirmation number of my Money Gram transaction, and he assured me that the $5000 would be direct deposited into my bank account the following business day.

The next business day arrives and I found no money deposited into my account. That afternoon, Customer Service Rep. Craig Marshall calls me, and tells me that the "lender" requires an additional $771.00 due to my credit history, before the $5000 loan can be granted to me.

I then decided not to send additional money and Craig offered me a refund, which I accepted. He said that my monies would be deposited into my account on the day of their next billing cycle, which in this case, was June 23, 2008. Here it is June 25th and no refund yet. I trried calling both Craig and Jonathan this morning and of course, cannot reach anyone.

What a fool I was! Now I'm concerned because I provided these fools with my bank account information (acct number) as many others did, and they can probably utilize the acct numbers any time they want to! Trust me, my acct will be closed and I will reopen another!
