I recieved a phone cal from Mr. Atwood in reference to a $5000 loan. Mr. Atwood verified my name, address, SS# and asked that I verify any type of debt that I may have. After doing so, he informed me that he would be faxing me the contract and paperwork that I needed to sign he ended the call. Once I received the paperwork and looked over it, filled it out, signed it and faxed it back. Along with the faxed paperwork I had to also money gram the first 5 monthly payments in an amount totaling $1107.20 as collateral because of my tarnished credit. The money gram was to be sent to Judy Gorman of Nova Scotia Canada. I sent the money and called back to inform Mr. Atwood that the transaction was complete and I also provided him with the reference number. He told me the funds would be in my account the next day by 5pm. That following morning I received a phone call from Mr. Craig Marshall informing me that after a careful assessment by an insurance company the lender decided that an additional $1107.20 was required because I was high risk.

After reviewing that paperwork and locating where the aforementioned was stated and seemed legit I sent another money gram for the additional $1107.20 . I called back and gave Mr. Marshall the reference number for the transaction and again I was promised that the funds would be in my checking account the following day by 5:00pm. The next morning I received a phone call from the Vice President of the company Mr. Johnathan Flemming he informed me that the lender backed out and my funds would be refunded to me on 6/20/2008 until then it would be in my best interest to take out a payday loan and his company would pay the interest on the loan. O spoke with Mr. Flemming for over 1 hour and he promised that my funds would be returned. I have checked my account today and the money is not there. The website and phone number that Preston Financial provided are no longer working.

IT IS A SCAM

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

You will not get the money back, How could you ahve been sooo dumb!. Didn't yoy do your research first? If you had, you would have seen all the similar complaints on here. Different names maybe, but the same premise. ANd IF you ahde that kind of money to throw away, why would you need a $5000 loan. USE your head and some common sense next time or you will loose a lot more. THEY ARE ALL SCAMS. Remember that.
