i purchased 3 airline tickets to travel to Brazil. Priceline.com did not tell me I needed a Visa to travel and use airline tickets. They only gave a general statement about government photo ID and passport. They never specifically advised me that a Visa was needed. Therefore, when we arrived at the airport, me and my children were unable to board the plane and Priceline refused to reschedule my flight so I could get an expedited Visa nor were they willing to give me a refund. it was very easy for them to keep my 3200 dollars with me getting nothing in return.

Ignorant? I did not know this was the kind of sight that people could hide behind signon names and give their opinions on serious matters. That's ignorant. If you have ever used a travel agent, they wont even sell you airline tickets or cruise tickets until they disclose all requirements associated with the travel. Furthermore, if Priceline makes it their responsibility to list under Important Information that one needs a government issued ID and a passport, why shouldn't they be responsible to list that one needs a Visa? But I thank you for your two scents and I will delete this account because the last thing I need is some lonely person, chiming in on serious matters that do not concern them.

Why would a ticket seller need to tell you this due delligent which you are supposed to do/research before you buy a ticket? If you are going aboard to a certain country, you are responsible to research whether you are eligible to enter the country. Assuming that you are an American would be able to enter any country is ignorant. If you want to go to Australia, do you need a visa? Or go to New Zealand, do you need a visa? I bet you would think that you do not need a visa to any of these countries and that is somewhat correct, but you could easily be kicked out of one of the country before you can enter. Now, do the research before going to any other countries, or you could easily lose your money and make a complaint on this site.
