I was checking out these penny auctions and came across an advertisement news report that tells you about all the great deals this reporter got from PriceShuffle.com. I decided if it was from the news agency it must be on the up and up only to find out I was wrong. I went there and registered and while registering you have to give them credit card info which I thought was for future purchases so no bells went off. As soon as I was done registering I was checking out the links and come to find out that they charged me $149.99 for 300 bids which I did not order. I emailed them right away and got a response back saying that I purchased 300 bids when I signed up and that it is CLEARLY stated on the payment page and on the terms and conditions page that I had read and checked. I went back and there is a small red box on the left side of the payment page which is NOT CLEARLY visible unless you are looking for it. I reread the terms & conditions page and still have not found this in there. I wrote back to this company and have asked them to please let me take the smallest amount on there since I can not afford the $150 because of many medical bills and a fixed income. I would never have signed up knowing that it was going to cost me this much money. I am hoping that the company will help me out but if not I intend to go to my bank and file fraudulent charges against them. I did not okay this company to charge my card for that amount. It is just set up to automatically charge you that amount unless you really see this little red box. Being an invalid I have to do all my shopping online and I thought this website would help me save money with Christmas coming up. Now I have even less money for Christmas unless they do the right thing and refund at least part of my money. Be Very Careful with this website or you could be next.

Company willing to help!

AUTHOR: Fran - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 27, 2010

I have heard back from this company right away and They have been very nice and are willing to give me a refund. I should have given this company more time before reporting them and I am sorry to them that I didn't but I was so upset I didn't know what to do. I think a company that is willing to work with you is so rare now a days that I am glad I found them and would recommend them to others. Thank you Eli and again my apologizes.
