I have been using Printroom services for about 2 years.  This Company has been nothing but headaches, I have come to a realization that this company is a Rip Off.  Printroom is a store front for photographers to upload their photos and Printroom accepts payments from photographers clients to print photographs in return the photographer is to receive a  profit check. As stated in Printroom's contract the photographer will receive his profit check once $100 is accumulates in profits in the account.  Once the minium amount of $100 is achieved, Printroom is supposed to mail out the profit check the following month on the 15th.  Printroom has not paid me on time yet.

The first profit check due to me was months late, I called numerous times and left multiple messages to accounts payable and did not get a response until I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau before I finally received a response that the reason my check was not mailed out because they did not have my address on file.  I did not understand nor accepted this repsonse because when the photographer signs on with Printroom, an address is required as well as an email address to notify photographer that images need to be uploaded to print for client.  I Finally did receive my profit check.  I continued to use their services and give them a second chance, hoping that this was not normal practice.  A few months ago I reached well over my $100 minium and still have not received my profit check due to me as stated in the contract.  Again I have left numerous messages, no one ever answers the phone no matter what time of day or evening I call Accounts Payable.

I have come to the conclusion that they do not want to pay me the money that I have earned and I am owed.  Printroom has profitted hundreds of dollars off my photographs that I uploaded and my clients ordered from Printroom.  I do not understand why Printroom does not forward my profits to me in a timely manner considering that my clients are not mailed out their order until Printroom has received all monies due.  Printroom is not only stealing my money by not paying my profit but is using my photographs and enfringing on my copyright of the photographs by receiving  profit and not forwarding my share of the profit from my photographs.  I am writing this to fellow photographers to beware of this company that does not honor  their contract and does not respect that photographers are fueling their company with profits with copy righted photographs.
