My heartfelt complaint is regarding Priority Textbook found at prioritytextbook.com.
The first thing you should notice is that there is no telephone number for any type of Customer Service. It does not exist. There is a stated sales telephone number at 518-618-1018. When you call this number you will find that it does not work.
It is very clear that this website has been devised to cheat students.
My daughter attempted to purchase a book for a summer class she was taking. She needed the book quickly and ordered it with expedited shipping through DHL. Her bank account, using a debit card, was charged immediately upon purchase.
The book never arrived. I contacted DHL on behalf of my daughter. DHL never received the book to be shipped. So, not only did my daughter not receive the book, but she was cheated out of the extra shipping fees.
My daughter and I have sent numerous emails to Priority Textbook. All have gone unanswered.
Please, do not attempt a purchase from these criminals.
In general, compaines like this one who sell school books and companies who claim to purchase used school books are as a rule... pure frauds. Our only successful book purchases have been from either a school bookstore at or from Amazon. I encourage you to sell your used books to students directly instead of going through one of the fraudulent online sites. The school bookstores are reliable as well.
Please do not be fooled by Priority Textbook, they certianly do not have your priority in mind. They are frauds, crooks, criminals... use your own synonym for evil here, it will apply.

Please do not be fooled by employees, contractors and others who are paid to log onto these sites and to "clean up" vaild customer complaints.
My complaint for this "company" (scam artists) is from direct experience with my daughter.
This company is purely fraudulent. Save your hard earned money and simply go to your school bookstore or contact a friend who may have the book you need for a class that they just finished.
I don't want you to lose money with those who are out to harm you. We have enough expense paying for school now, don't we?
Be smart and thrive.
Peace to you.

I ordered an engineering textbook for about 1/3 the price of the US edition. I got confirmation the next day that it had shipped DHL and it was delivered from Malaysia to my door in Florida within two days thereafter. The only minor (but stated) downside was that it was a global edition with soft cover (no big deal) and a different ordering of the chapter problem sets (minor deal). But compared to the 90$ saved, free shipping and lightening fast delivery I have absolutely no grounds to complain.
I read these complaints within a few nminutes of ordering the text and then went back to cancel the order-but there was no easy 'cancel button'...but notification of shipment came within the next few hours, so I didn't look too hard into trying to cancel.
Your mileage may vary-but mine is very good.
