this all started when i needed a new microwave. I found emporium.com would do monthly payments and help build credit. Two weeks after the order was placed i called to see if itshipped. The order hasn't been processed. I requested to cancel order. A few weeks later i get an email stating my order shipped and i must sign for it. I called emporium and told them i cancelled. They said to refuse shipment and once returned it will cancel. So the next month i had ACH finds withdrawn from my account. I called Emporium. I got a number for customer service. Had to leave message. Left message no call back. I called again to billing and was told to go to my bank to get money back. I did that. Got my money back. Thought it was all over. Then my money withdrawn again. Had to close my bank account. Now they sent me a listed staying in past due. For what? That's my question.

We were not aware of the fact that the website was still messaging that our program could be used to help build or rebuild credit. The messaging has since been corrected. We realize that this is rather disappointing knowing that you had a certain expectation of what was going to occur when you took out the lease with Emporium. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we realize that you took out a lease under the impression that this would build your credit.
