I came home one evening to find a telephone voicemail left for me saying I had won a prize and needed to call back a 1-877 number. When I called they did not give a company name or anything which was odd to me. I talked to a really nice lady that told me I wouldn't have to buy anything or sign anything I just needed to come up to this address

1324 Richmond Road
Williamsburg Virginia

To get 1 of 4 prizes. I told the lady I needed to talk to my family to see if they would come with me and she told me only a spouse or significant other should come with me. That again, seemed odd. I hung up and called my family, after that she called back from a 708 number in Chicago which again seemed odd. So I researched and found out that it was a Timeshare Hotel that was at this address.

When I called the 877 number back there was a gentleman that answered and asked a lot of odd questions such as "Was I over 31?" "Did I make more than $40,000 a year". I told him I was going to ask for a lady to speak with and he said I was being deceptive and he was going to forfiet my prize. He started to get rude with me and did not sound professional at all.

When I tried to call the 708 number back to see what was the problem it was "disconnected". However I used my cell phone to call and actually got through to that number. And to satisfy my curiousity I called back, blocking my number of course, to the 877 number and gave them a fake number and name and of course "You've won a prize" Fake Fake Fake people. Don't call "John" at 1-877-256-2373. Its definitely a scam.
