Jim Moore provided me with a color sample prior to the order being placed. When I ordered the equipment I asked him how long it would be until it was shipped and he said "3-4 weeks".

I was only made aware of false information every time I called and was actually able to get Jim Moore on the phone. On 11-18-06 when I called to get a status he said that they were to get back the product from powder coating that day and it would ship out on the following day.

After a week I called back and he said "I am looking at them right now and they look really cool. We just have to put the stickers on them and they will go out today". That was the 2nd week in December 2006. After the holidays I continued to call to try and find out the status of my order.

Jim Moore just kept putting me off telling me he had to check with the "factory" and see what was going on. He never returned my calls. I made a final call in the last part of January asking what the deal was with my order. Jim Moore told me he was tired of me calling him, this was a small order and he did not need the trouble and hung up the phone. I left several messages with no return call from Jim Moore.

I finally left a message stating that after 3 months and no product or prospect of any delivery that I wanted my money back. Jim Moore then left me an ill-tempered message stating that I would get nothing from him.

In a final attempt in good faith to bring this issue to an end, I phoned Jim Moore and asked him if he would please send my money or my equipment. He stated that I needed to drop my BBB complaint and pay him $135 for the time he spent replying to said complaint. I told him that I did not think that was fair and I would not pay him any more money.

I have filed this complaint in the hopes that it will help warn other potential customers of Jim Moore and his unscrupulous business practices, taking money and providing nothing in return. To me that is just another form of stealing.
