I was approched by a man in Lowes parking lot he asked if i would be intrested in a surround sound system i said no he explained he was a contactor they had orderd to many of the systems and need to get rid of the three extras and was willing to take a loss . I was sceptical he assured me they were not stolen.So i took alook he wanted $500 i looked them up on line which later i found out was bogus web site that had aMsrp of$.3000 Product does not work web site WWW.protechniklab.com isBOGUS Hopefully this wont happen to you. Description white male late30s short brwn hair driving bronze dodge durango selling Pro technik surround sound systems out of his vehical Puyallup Washington 8373

Was approached by 2 individuals selling me 2 separate systems for 500.00. I asked if they were stolen and I did not want them if they were stolen. Got copies of their drivers license and License plates. I am currently in El Paso, Texas.

On 5/10/10, I too was approached by two questionable looking males at the Lowes parking lot in El Paso, Texas. Same exact story!! I didnt think it was a scam just thought they were theifs selling stolen merchandise. Their asking price was $600 claiming that the products retail price was over $ 3,500. Then, they stated that they were willing to take $400. Shortly after they asked me to make an offer. (TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE) I trusted my "Gut Feeling" and walked away.
