So I was interested in learning about the personal trainers at my Gym and thought it was included with my membership.  I found out from the manager that the personal trainers are a different company and that they rent space from my gym.  Now I love my gym they are great but the personal training company Professional Fitness that rents space from them is a scam!

So I sign up for my free session and after the session the guy gets me into a contract which I was told was monthly.  I pay the fee and then sign off on it being told I had 30 days to cancel.  So they call me a week later and set up a session and then I called back ahead of time having to cancel because I couldn't make it.  Called the office repeatedly for 2 WEEKS and no one called me back.  Then I called the front desk of my gym and they kept telling my trainer to call me back and she NEVER did!  Finally someone calls me to check on me and come to find out they were switching managment and the  guy that signed me up wasn't even there anymore he was just filling in!  They told me I had to pay $133 to cancel which I don't think I should have to since I NEVER got any sessions that I paid for.  I am wicked upset about this!  He told me that I needed to pay with cash check or money order and when I said I shouldn't have to pay he said im gonna be honest.  This is a multimillion dollar company and they have lawyers that will send your bill to collections.  So I said fine and I would pay them.  I called back after calling attorney generals office letting them know that I called the state and that I felt like I was intimiated to pay.  I am not sure what to do yet so I am going to my bank to stop all payment from this company and make sure that they do not try to take any further payments from me.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM THEY SCAM YOU AND BLAME YOU!  BBB GAVE THEM AN F!

Still haven't gotten my sessions!

AUTHOR: Shortgirly82 - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 23, 2014

So after the long meeting with the new manager of the professional fitness at my gym he called me back the  next day saying he got corporate to cut me a deal and only charge me $96 for cancel fee but I still had to pay $96 for July.  I decided to take my 3 session.  The manager offered me sessions with himelf.  So I schedule for Saturday 11am and show up and he was a no show.  I called on Monday and the trainer says the manager will get back to me.  Tuesday the trainer gets back to me and we schedule for 6pm on thursday which is ok.

I walk in thinking I am gonna get an hr session because I was told I was owed 3 one hr sessions.  I got a half hr which was only 20min with him and 6min on my own and 4min in his office.  So I left my session and went home.  Called back Friday to schedule another session becasue I am still owed 2 more sessions since I paid for July.  Manager continues to call me back on the number I asked not to be called back on.  Calls me after I have left work for the day so I didn't know until this past Monday that I had a missed call from him and no one left a message.

I called back on Monday talk to the manager and tell him to call my cell not my work and that I wanted to schedule another session that I am owed.  We agreed on Tuesday (yesterday) 5:30pm.  I rush to be on time for my session and waited 20MIN and NO SHOW AGAIN!!!!!

As a manager he should not have promised me sessions with him to make up for the fact that I NEVER got my sessions with anyone else.  I called the offices again and a trainer answered and said hi I said I had a session today at 5:30pm and my trainer never showed and he goes ok ill have the manager call you back and I was like thats not needed im all set thanks!

What a jerk and what is worse I have to call corporate today and tell them I want my money back for sessions I never got or else I calling attorny generals office again!
