This is alot to read I ordered a product from an infomercial called Auctions for Income on April 12, 2004 which sold my information. Professional Consulting Services Inc (PCS) contacted me few days later on April 28, 2004. I was informed that the people on the infomercial received help from Professional Consulting Services Inc (PCS) in becoming successful. I was transferred to three different people to speak with to make me buy their services. After being on the phone with the sales people for over an hour, I was told that I would receive double my money back with in the month guaranteed. Once I decided to try the service I was informed that I would have to pay $4,395 right away. There was no contract ever sent to my home or sent via email in regards to this transaction. The next day I had not received a phone call from the company to confirm my scheduled training courses. I decided to call them. When I spoke to a representative, I was told that my number had been entered in incorrectly when they called me the day before. The sales person informed me that there would be no extra charges and they would provide me with product information. Once I signed on, I was informed later that I would need to make extra purchases from other online services that Professional Consulting Services Inc (PCS) has discounts with regarding products. For this purchase, it was an extra $60.00. The website trainer, Mr. Womack was scheduled to contact me once a week starting May 1, 2004, then every Thursday at 2:30pm there after. Our third session he did not call or email me. I waited by the phone for his phone call. I waited until 3:30pm, then called PCS and was informed that Mr. Womack was out of the office until further notice. After three weeks, I was not seeing any progress in my investment. I contacted Professional Consulting Services Inc to inquire about a refund and was transferred to their return department run by Ms Glauser. I explained to Ms. Glauser that I was calling in regards to my dissatisfaction of PCS's service. I asked Ms. Glauser for a refund because of inadequate services and false guaranties. Ms. Glauser was unsympathetic regarding my request and said that PCS does not give refunds. I asked her if there would be a way we could resolve this issue with out having to escalate the matter. Ms. Glauser replied again that PCS would not give me a refund. She said herself that PCS Guaranties a profit by the end of the month for the home bases website. She then said that she would call me in a week to see if PCS would reconsider. Ms. Glauser never called me back. On July 7, 2004, I spoke with Dennis Wright the company's operations manager. I explained the situation and he said that there was nothing he could do. I informed him that the original phone call I received was an illegal solicitation since their company is not registered as telemarketers. Once I informed Mr. Wright about this, he decided to refund only $1,395 and keep me in their program, since he wants to be fair. He kept insisting that the services that I received equaled up to $3,000. Please help!!! Catherine New York, New York

I've received a FULL REFUND!!! ...Thank You, Debbie & Rip-off Report!

UPDATE!!! $4,395

I called PCS and spoke with their operation manager Dennis Wright who was no help at all. He blamed the losing money on me, which it is true. It was I that fell for the scam. I was the one who put my money down. I have been kicking my self since August 27, 2004 because of it.

I explained to him that the company he works for is not a registered telemarketing company. The phone call I received for their services was an illegal call. Mr. Wright soon changed his tone and offered to return $1,395 of my money. I was very tempted because I did not know what to do. I had never been scammed before so I was very close in accepting his offer.

I came upon another website and read what a woman named Debbie wrote. It works it really works. Complain to EVERY agency out there. I was in complete shock. I received all my money back in FULL. I was about to give up. My bank did not want to help me. They said since I paid with my debit card that they could not do anything. (Chase) When I read Debbie's complaint about the company I decided to use her information and run with it. I wrote to the FCC, all the local and state scam and fraud agencies. I filed 3 complaints in the state where the company is from too (Utah). The BBB was absolutely NO HELP!!! It's going to be a lot of faxing, calling and writing but ALL well worth it. I got a letter in the mail from PCS apologizing for the "misunderstanding" 2 weeks after the start of my complaint frenzy. As of August 23, 2004, they have FULLY refunded my money. The letter I received had one catch. I would have to stop filing complaints about them to state agencies.

The Utah state consumer affairs help SOOOO much. They did an investigation and fined them for making telemarketing calls without a telemarketing license.

Oh, by the way..Mr. Wright suddenly does not work for the company any longer.
