Recived a bill from Professional Recovery Consultants for my wife. I have checked my files back to 1999 and cannot find any unpaied bills to the company they claim they are collecting for. All bills to the company they claim they are collecting for have been paied back in 2004. My wife has not visited the Health company they say they repesent for over 10 years. I am very glad I do my reserch before I even contact them. I never take any collection company at face value and I have found that a lot of them do lie about what they are doing. Just another rip-off you need to watch out for. If they do report me to any of the 3 credit bureaus I have the dispute letters wating.

Bill,
I have very little patience for the accusations of lying. We operate in a professional and ethical manner, as do most collection agencies. How exactly are we
"lying"? We get data from our Clients/Creditors for bills to collect. This data may or may not be accurate, we realize this. However, we have ZERO control of this data. If the data is wrong, your beef or accusations of "lying" are with the Client/Creditor and we will work with you to clear that up. Why don't you go complain about them instead of slandering our name? Do you think we just go through the phone book and pick out names and make up bills?
