ProFlowers short changed me on my order of long stem roses. The stems have to be 23-1/2" (60cm) minimum to be considered long stem. The heads are also not the industry standard size. There are many web pages indicating the industry standard is 60 to 90 centimeters (23.6 to 35.4 inches), and a head size (measuring the diameter) of 2-4 inches and many consider 70 cm the standard.  After complaining I was told Proflowers considers 20" as long stems and it is stated in their description.

The item description is very misleading. Here is how it reads on the website:

Three Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses w/Free Ruby Vase
Item Description:36 long-stemmed red roses
Includes baby's breath and greenery
Includes Ruby Gathering Vase
Stands approximately 20" tall

When it says "stands approximately 20" tall" directly under the vase description it implies that the vase itself is 20" tall and not the length of the stems.  Not sure many people would associate that 20" at the bottom with the roses at the very top of the description but maybe I'm wrong.  Nevertheless, if they are not going to sell the industry standard for long stem roses then don't try to hide it. It should state 'stem length is 20"'

After complaining they offered me a partial refund that I am not satisfied with. Shop elsewhere!
