This is bogus. Their representative asked me in a phone conversation last year to return the fancy brochure back to the company and as a courtesy, I finally did using their FedX return envelop which I had thought was provided with the brochure for two reasons: (1) to return the brochure, or (2) to return a request of interest in purchasing a lot in Costa Rica (application provided in brochure). When I sent the brochure back, naturally, I thought they would pay for the return, as they had a number (not the account number, I found out later) on the return envelope that was supposed by their account number. I received a bill for $30.80 from FedX, instead of them taking responsibility for paying for the return. I learned that it doesn't pay to be courteous to scum like these business people and I agree with the other victims who have been ripped off by this company in trying for over a year to get their money returned on deposits on property that's sold by Properties of Costa Rica. I would recommend to anyone not to do business with these non-professionals ever. I will most likely have to pay the FedX bill, instead, I could have just sent it back regular main for less than $4, or not sent it at all. But they requested it back, even though, in calling them, they're denying that they ever request a return of an expensively made 11.5 x 8 brochure with glossy photographs and booklets in it. The brochure alone probabily cost $30 to create.
