I ordered this product on a trail basis as advertised on t.v. and the internet in March of 2004. The ads say that you can try the product for 30 days for $29.95 and if you are not satisfied you can return the product for a refund. I ended up with a total charge of $157.39 that I am still trying to get refunded now in June, 2004.
The product came a few days later with a reciept showing a charge of $97.49 posted to my bank account. I called to ask why I was charged the full price instead of the trial price. They gave me a bogus excuse then told me that $59.90 would be refunded immediately. A few days later it was so I was pleased.
About 20 days into the trail period, I recieved and was charged for a second package with a refill of the product which I never ordered. I called to cancel the trail and return the all of the product. The representative told me I could return the product and advised me to get a tracking service on the packages because I may have to prove when the package was delivered to them. I did but weeks later I continued to see charges fom this company on my bank account.
I called to find out the problem with my cancellation request and they claimed they NEVER recieved either of the two packages and refused to refund any of the money not even for the refill I never ordered. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't find my tracking slips from the post office so I couldn't prove that they had gotten there. After a few days of arguing with representatives, I asked that my claim be refered to the Customer Response department. I faxed them a complaint and got no response. I called and got an e-mail address for the department and e-mailed a strongly-worded complaint.
I explained to them that both packages were sent priorty mail at the same time in identicle pakages from the same Military post office (from aboard a military installation along with official Government mail) so I know for a fact that the packages couldn't just "get lost". Low and behold, last week I got a response from them saying that they DID infact recieve the second package with the refill order so they were going to refund $64.99 but still had no idea where the other package is.
I have found tons of the complaints on this company, all very similar complaints to mine, posted all over the internet. I plan to continue protesting these charges and claims until all of my money is returned.

Propolene Refund
AUTHOR: Teresa - (U.S.A.)

I too have filed my own "Rip-Off" report because, in fact, I was a person ripped off by Propolene. I am a member of Pre-Paid Legal Services and contacted my attornies regarding this matter. My attorney in turn sent them a letter to seize and disist and return my money. About 30 days after they sent out the letter, Propolene finally refunded me all my money.
