Proseal ripoff, dishonest ripoff HIcksville New York

After reading the other reports on this company, I am glad that I decided to contact you.

I too on 6-22-06 ordered the product that was advertised on TV, I have used a similar product in the past and the product does work (you can pick the same thing up at home improvement stores for a couple dollars).

But, the company offered a free steamer if you made the purchase of the proseal. That is why I decided to go with ordering from them. After giving them the initial information on my address, credit card # etc., they asked me if I wanted the free steamer and all I had to pay was S&H, $20.00 charge, I still though OK for $40 I would get the proseal, and the steamer, still a good deal as the price of steamers go.

Next it pops up on the screen, do you want to order the hose and attachments to go with the steamer, well you have to have those parts to use the steamer, so checked yes and another $20 S&H charge is added.

OK, now at $60 this is not looking like a good deal, so I canceled the order.

Next credit card bill there is the charge for the proseal, but not the steamer or attachments.

I called them and was told that the order was sent out and I should refuse it and they would start a refund. I never received anything.

After contacting them four times and every excuse from we only refund on the last day of the month and we missed you credit card cut off date, to our computers are down, I told them the next call would be from my attorney, the nice lady on proseal said she would make a note of that on my account and I would have my refund in 2 weeks. That was 6-1-06. I received my latest statement and it still was not credited.

I solved my probelem by contacting my credit card company and they told me I would receive my credit and they would remove the money from the automated account with proseal. Check with your credit card company to get a refund, I got the mpression from mine that this was not the first challenged charge with that company.
