Publishers Clearing House they stole money 199.00 from my checking account without my knowledge and then refused to help me when I called them to resolve the problem. They supervisor helping me called me a liar and hung the phone up on me. Port Washington New York

I called my bank to check to see which checks had cleared etc. I came upon an electronic check for the amount of 199.00, which I had no idea what it was. I called the bank and told me it was Publishers Clearing House. I once again had no idea what it was....I pay every month by mailing them an approximately 30.00 check. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very polite and wanted to help but she had to get a supervisor to help me. The man I spoke to was very rude...explained to me they dont take money from peoples checking account without their knowledge(lie) they took mine. And that the payment had been received at one of their payment centers. ( I have know idea where in the world a pch payment center is located.) I once again told him I did not authorize this and it has cause my bank account to be overdrawn and now I am in debt with hot check charges. That is not his problem i will have to solve it with my bank and he hung up on me. How very professional.
