Publishers Clearning House Mr. Todd Sloane Too good to be true winnings Unknown Nationwide

I received an email from Mr. Todd SLoane asking me for a lot of personal inforamtion so he could deliver a check I won from Publishers Clearing House.  When I asked him why he needed this inforamtion, he simply replied that I needed to contact this person in the United Kingdom about deliver of my check and paperwork.  He did have one sentence in the email that there would be a cost.

I did some research and found that winners in the Publishers Clearning House receive their payment in person and do not have to pay anything.  When I asked Mr. Sloane about this, he did not respond.

Instead I received an email from the person in the United Kingdom telling me he had a check in the amount of $850,000,000 to deliver with some paperwork and all I had to do was pay a small fee....about $800 dollars.  He goes on to say they could not withdraw the money from the winnings, I had to pay it before I would get the check.

Sounds like they are fishing for money!
