Unsolicited and False "Syringe and Needle Order"

Our non-profit health center received a call stating that we had ordered some syringes and needles from them. They were calling to verify our mailing address and other information that they should have had if we had indeed ordered from them.

We only use one vendor to order all our medical supplies and it is not this company. I called the company, as the clinic coordinator, to find out how this fictious order had been put together. I was told that one of my staff must have made a mistake and the order was cancelled. The person I spoke to was named Bill Scott. He kept talking in circles and about the whole event and would not answer how he got our name in the first place.

Beware of someone contacting you for any medical orders, especially if they need your address or ok to ship out an order that sounds vague. I used to get this same type of phone call when I worked in a business office only they would attempt to send copy machine toner that you never ordered.

This company will not come up on the web when googled, they wouldn't give me a fax # or email address.
