I should have known better after my first paycheck bounced that Larry Sims and QCD of America (QCD are a dishonest organization. I should have known better after several of the QCD employees warned me about Larry Sims and his deceitful games. I should have known better after about 60 days that I would never make the commissions thus income Larry Sims had promised me upon employment as the goals were not realistic. Larry has no actual historical data to back up his claim of sales goals and income. I should have known better after Larry Sims mandated that I hire sales reps within a certain age range, not to hire another black sales rep, not to hire anyone whose name I could not clearly pronounce and to hire only young women that are easy on the eyes from head to toe. I should have known better after Larry Sims bragged and told stories about his own personal sex life. I should

have known better after Larry Sims consistently invited me to strip clubs. I should have known better after several members at Royal Oaks, the country club where Larry Sims frequents, warned me that Larry was a dishonest and hated member. This warning came on two separate occasions from two different people while in route to the Royal Oaks mens bathroom. I should have known better

after Larry Sims took the credit for several of my own accomplishments. I should have known better after I realized that Larry Sims believes his own lies.

I should have known better. Don't make the mistake I made by accepting a position with QCD of America. Run from any association with this company.

Support for the initial complaint

AUTHOR: Not Disgruntled - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, July 23, 2015

I have to laugh as I am now reading this complaint filed in 2011 and it outlines many of the same experiences I had when employed by Larry Sims at QCD of America many years prior.

I can say that Larry Sims did make sexual advances toward me.  It was probably less than a month from that experience that he terminated my employment, stating that I was not meeting his expectations.

That termination was timed very well because if you did not complete a certain amount of time in the position, then he could deduct the cost of your training from your last paycheck, per the contract you had to sign when hired.

Months after I was fired I received a phone call from my manager at QCD.  His first name was Brent and he reported to Larry Sims.  Brent called that day to apologize to me.  He felt bad about what happened to me and shared that all the new business I said was in the pipeline did close.  This call meant a lot to me because Brent was a former pastor and I couldn't understand how he would have allowed me to be terminated.  I should also share that Brent did not reach out to me until he himself was terminated by Larry Sims.

I did receive a phone call from another man who I believe was an investor in QCD,  he was surprised to learn I was no longer employed.  This person experienced Larry's unstable behavior and referred to him as bi-polar.  I can not recall the name of that man.

This rebuttal may not mean much at this point in time.  I simply wanted to express my experiences in support of the initial complaint that has received such negative comments.  I am not a disgruntled employee Larry Sims...I count my blessings that I was removed from association with you.  You are a manipulative and evil person and I agree that no one, in their best interest, should accept employment with you.

Facts about QCD of America and Larry N. Sims

AUTHOR: Truth - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, July 18, 2011
To whom it may concern,

My name is Larry N. Sims and I am President of QCD of America, Inc.  I founded the company almost twenty years ago.

It was recently brought to my attention that several items have been posted in a negative manner on this site.

I am sure that any logical person can see that these items were posted by a former employees of our company and are intended to personally attack me with hurtful remarks that are not based on fact.  An analysis of the writings clearly show a copycat trend of malicious content.

I have attempted to contact these individuals and asked them to remove these items.  I also invited them to contact me and to discuss any issues that I may resolve.  There has never been a response to my requests.

This offer is still open to these individuals or to anyone else that may have an issue with our company.  It is my policy to have an open door and quickly resolve any issues regarding our company.

QCD of America, Inc. has been in business since 1992 and our business philosophy is based on transparency and taking care of our valued customers.  We are licensed and regulated by the Texas State Department of Insurance and have a strong record.  We are fortunate to have many great employees with long term tenures.  However, sometimes things do not work out for some individuals and unfortunately a very few decide to react in this type of manner.

I would like to personally apologize to any reader of these postings for their less than professional content.  I again assure any reader that the information contained in these postings is not factual and is simply intended to liable QCD of America, Inc. and me personally.

It is unfortunate, however, it is the world that we live in today.

Thank you for reading this rebuttal.

It is apparent that this statement was generated by a disgruntled former employee.  While we respect everyones right to express their opinion, it is merely one opinion and not a factual representation of our company or its leadership.
