My car was towed from a legal parking spot in front of a popular restaurant ( Harlan Social Norwalk ) for being there too long, even though I was patronizing the restaurant and spending money there. There was a phone # ONLY on the sign for the towing company. When I called to find out where my car was, I got an answering service who said they would call me back with the address- THEY DIDN'T. I waited alone late at night for a call back.

Finally, after several more calls by me, I got the address and took a cab to retrieve my STOLEN car. They DEMANDED $220.00 in cash and REFUSED to give me a receipt, stating that was their "policy." When I pointed out the police were in the street supervising road work and I refused to give $220 with no receipt, the manager came out and wrote up a receipt. All of a sudden, the price was $195.92, which I was told was because the manager was "feeling generous." What a hero!

Don't EVER buy gas here or have your car serviced here, don't ever park in front of the Ironworks or Harlan Social, and don't EVER have anything to do with these thieving crooks.
