On the Home page of Quibids next to Registering, it stated 100% satisfation guarantee. There were no instructions explaining site prior to paying an initial $60 to start. So I thought it was legit since it was guarnateed. Low and behold I tried it out and there is NO way to win anything with only $60. As soon as someone bids with in 20 seconds of ending, the clock resets another 20 secs. This goes on until everyone of the however  many peeple are bidding decide to give up or run out of bids. I even triend the automatic bidding. Thats even more of a scam. I watched as it used my money to bid  at 25 seconds on the clock. It didnt wait till there was 1 or 3 or 3 minutes left. Also there were several others using the automatic bid and it wasnt taking turns. It used your money whenever it wanted.
So I contacted support the same day I signed up to explain I wasnt 100% satisfied. They refunded $3.60 of my $60.  Are you kidding me! For what..How did my money cost them money. What a rip off. I have sent several emails and no response. So I am disputing with my bank now.
I am calling them tomorrow, just got the #405-253-2038 from my bank as it is NOWHERE on the website

In case there is a problem with the terminology..

From http://www.merriam-webster.com...

auction noun \'?k-sh?n

Definition of AUCTION:  a sale of property to the highest bidder

gamble verb \'gam-b?l

Definition of GAMBLE : to play a game for money or property

For example, Ebay is a LEGITIMATE auction since you do not pay for bids if you do not win the auction. You simply look for another auction or do nothing, no cost to the user of the site if they do not win.

Now when using a "penny auction" aka gambling web site such as Quibids, it is ALWAYS going to cost you to bid (which seems to me more like a "bet") WIN or LOSE and even if you still have the option to buy the item if you LOSE the auction it is still a gamble and not a good alternative to simply "shopping". Cost the user of the site win or lose.

You need to be more careful with online gambling sights and scams...

The "100% satisfaction guarantee" does not cover bids and certainly you bid. This it what it says on their website regarding it and I quote..

"To help maintain our customer 100% satisfaction guarantee, most merchandise purchased from QuiBids may be returned anytime within 30 days for a refund of the transaction price of the merchandise returned, but not the bids used in the auction"

Now I do not know how they can claim "100%" when they are using terms such as "most", but they are getting away with a lot worse then that.

Of course they are not going to make it easy to find the phone number on the website if it is even there as only legit businesses do this. Scammers make it tough hoping the "users"  aka suckers will simply give up.
