I fell into desperate measures and applied for various loans at Last Chance Loans. I did complete the application process, e-signed the loan and submitted. The loan was never given to me. Just an ACH transaction for $31.85 for an identity theft protection program. I did search the id theft protection on the internet and found out the website: www.theftprotectsupport.com/support. I clicked on the "If you are visiting this site because of an unrecognized charge on your bank statement, please click here." button. A pdf document was open about the protection plan and the benefits. The document did have a few other websites that don't work: "www.idprotectsupport.com" & "To Cancel: www.cancelidprotect.com" I knew this was a scam. I did call the phone number on the document which is: 888-207-3984.

A woman picked up the phone, but I noticed that there was interferance and I couldn't hear the woman that good. She asked for my information to confirm that I had id theft protection, which I asked what it was. She bascially said it was insurance and that I would be charged 31.85 a month for the services. She also asked if I wanted to cancel the subscription. I said "No". I also asked if I could cancel at any time. She verified I could, over the phone or on the website. I did cancel the subscription over the website a few times. I doubt that worked. I was afraid at that point, because my bank account was compromised. I went to my bank after these incidents and closed my account. I opened a new one right away. That same day, my closed account was ACH with a charge of 24.95 from Quick Bucks Direct. The account is closed, so they didn't get that amount from me. The bank told me that the money they want from my old account, is not going to happen. My bank is aware of the situation and I also purchased an id theft protection with them. They not moniter my accounts, my credit cards and credit. I feel comfortable now. Learning from all the incidents I have read on this website saved me from online pretators taking money from me. Never do business with Last chance loans "www.amnestyfinancial.com/lastchance" or quickbucksdirect.com. There is some scam between the two. Here are some numbers that have been calling me all week:

214-446-9831 (Dallas, TX)
310-402-5431 (Los Angeles, CA)
770-483-8406 (Conyers, GA) [Henry Starr, V4395 Union Church Road, McDouough, GA 30252)
952-852-6698 (Minneapolis, MN)
866-591-5013 [AutoLoan Network]
800-504-9280 [USA Credit]
877-728-9891 (unknown, said I pre-qualified for a $1500 loan)
888-555-1212 (New York, NY) [auto insurance scam)

I heard the same person from these two numbers:
877-207-6662
800-223-9113
A man with an indian accent. Couldn't understand his bad english, very unprofessional about explaining his buisness, bad grammer.

I've answered a few calls, but told them I was not interested and hung up on them. I did register my phone # with donotcall.gov. I filed a complaint against the number 877-207-6662 with the website. I have also noticed that when I did answer the call to this number, I heard silence then a hang up. A few minutes later, a call from one of the telemarketers from the list above. I didn't answer the call today, no message was left, and no telemarketers called at all. I might have to change my number soon if it gets worse.

I hope I have helped at all.
