Quick Bucks Direct Daughter contacted to pay loan money to QuickBucksDirect.com. Given 2 mail address in Laguna Niguel & Newport Beach. I tried 2 access website but it was "gone". Msg. on site was " QBD will no longer be accepting any applications for payday loans". Laguna Niguel, CA Or Newport Beach, CA California

My daughter was contacted telling her that she owed money to QuickBucksDirect.com for a loan. She was given an address in Laguna Niguel for $$ to be mailed. She called them back for an account number so the payment would be credited to the correct account/name.

I was reviewing a statement sent in early '08 & I noticed that the alleged account number = the last transaction #. I tried to access their website again but it was "gone". The message posted was: "We regret to inform you that QuickBucksDirect will no longer be accepting any applications for payday loans. If you have questions please feel free to contact us at 1-877-773-7723 or via email at contactus@quickbucksdirect.com. Thank you."

It hadn't even been thirty minutes since I had been on their website, reviewed seven pages of information. I called them back, asked again for an account number, tried to verify the Laguna Niguel address and was given the corporate address in Newport Beach, CA where to send the payment.

Tried using the white and yellow pages to locate either office, but the Laguna Niguel is non-existent, the office in Newport Beach also was unavailable. I even tried using the 877-773-7723 number for a reverse check. The number was found, but no name given. I tried again to access the website, only this time I typed in DirectQuickBucks.com, the return was a VZN directory page listing QuickBucksDirect.com. I clicked on it, and it took me to the following website: http://www.uspaydayloansonline.com/index.html.

I also read several negative/warning articles about QuickBucksDirect on Complaints Board / Loans. Needless to say, my daughter will not be submitting any more $$ to them (?), as on the statement it shows her checking account had been debited multiple times. I feel they have been paid more than once.

I wish to thank you for posting and maintaining an ongoing Rip Off alert on this company and their practices.
