This loan shop was advertised on Craigslist.   I talked to a Mike Robbins (not his legal name!) who said he could make a loan for a fix and flip project I was working on.  He said that his investors do not pull credit reports and I asked several times to make sure.  I didn't want a hard pull to cause my score to drop.  He assured me no credit pull.   Later in the week I was reviewing my credit report and there was a hard pull from Velocity Mortgage which caused my score to drop about 5 points!

I called Velocity and asked why they pulled my credit, they said one of their "Brokers" Mr Robbins had submitted my info to them for a loan.  It appears Mr Robbins is only a middle man, you can go directly to Velocity and save yourself 2%!  Besides that, Mr Robbins flat out lied to me as I clearly asked him several times if my credit would be pulled....

After doing more research with the State of Florida I leaned that Quick Close Loans LLC is run by a Charles Mike Robbins and is working out of his house! (RED FLAG THERE).  However he uses the name Mike and not Charles while speaking to him.  This person can not be trusted with your personal information!
