I used to work for Braddik or bradik telemarketing services, when i first went for an interview, it was a group thing with 12 or 13 other people. The guy doing the interview was some indian guy who had NO idea what he was talking about, but at that point I needed money. They called me and I took there evening job 5:30-10:30. It was on yonge street in toronto on the 6th floor of some building, near yonge and bloor.

So anyways let me make this short and sweet, I was there for about 2 months and in that time I was able to learn alot of what REALLY goes on with these vacation packages they give away. One of there managers told me how the owner of this BTS company who is named Jeff drutz forces his managers to turnover the room (fire people) after a week, just so they dont get there training pay.

The first 3 days which are the training days gets paid to you when you "complete" 30 days, but thats so they save money by fireing people 2 weeks in or 3 weeks in. Trust me, I was in a training group of 8 people, 5 of them "bolted"( thats the managers term for people that just take off) the other 2 were fired in the first 2 weeks because they weren't selling these vacations.

Now I understand how business works, if you can't do the job you have to go. Funny thing is NO one could do the job. They said in the interview that the average for the week was 6-10 orders. That would be $630 a week. I was there for 2 months, I saw maybe 7 or 8 people get more then 6 in that time. By the way, the room holds about 55 people. On top of that, when customers cancel, the company takes the commission back.

By the way, you can cancel, call your credit card company, you have 30 days to dispute any charge. I overheard one of there managers saying that to a customer during there verification.

The million dollar question is do customers get a vaction, as far as I heard, yes. BUT the vaction is garbage and the timeshare is very HARD.

I feel bad for the employees of BTS though, the managers LIE like there is no tomorrow. There was a scary guy named Tony, who would pump up the room at the beginning of our shift. Here is an example of this guy. Many times did I hear him joke with other managers about firing people, or as they call "clippage".

The bottom line is, I see alot of reports on Ramada, or Imperial majesty ect. If you have ever filled out a ballot at a trade show and someone called about a vacation. There is a strong chance that company is in Toronto, is owned by Jeff Drutz. Its head office is 8185 Yonge Street, Suite 203,
Toronto, ON L3T 2C6, Canada

There is another company Jeff Drutz owns call ShowSmart www.showsmart.com I have no idea if that is a rip off or not, but its owned by the same company. BTS was doing so bad at the end of my time there, I don't even know if it exists. But showsmart still does and if you have been ripped off, try talking to them about it. Just ask for Jeff.

Last thing, I am sorry for all the people ripped off, and PLEASE dont blame the telemarketers. We were lied to also. We need money, sometimes you do things that don't feel right. I am sorry, but your anger should be directed to the owners of the companys. They are the one's who run the show.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

That was Jeff who wrote a rebuttal to the report about his call center.

AUTHOR: ShowsmartIsAScam - (Canada)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Just wanted to let you know that I know for a fact that the rebuttal to this report that was posted last was written by Jeff Drutz himself, pretending to be an ex-employee.

In Jeff's twisted mind, he beleives that he is an ethical business man and a decent person. He can not handle people saying anything negative about him and he felt compelled to write a rebuttal as an atempt to redeem his name and reputation online.

Anyone who really knows Jeff, will know that he is a pathological liar and a true sleeze ball. He is a man who will rip off anyone to make, or save, a buck. He is a man with a huge ego and truly beleives he is smarter and better than everyone else. Jeff prides himself on his accomplishments of exploitation. No one who knows Jeff Drutz will say a nice word about him.

To update all the people exploited by Jeff Drutz: Jeff drove this call center into the ground, along with his marraige, and ended up selling the call center for dirt cheap. Soon after he learnt that there was more money to be made in the business of Lead Generation; getting the names and numbers of people to sell to the call centers. He now owns a company called Showsmart Inc. This company operates in the same fashion as Jeff's former call centers did by taking advantage of employees and riping off whoever they can to increase profits.

Sorry to everyone who has been effected by Jeff Drutz and let's all take comfort in knowing that one day he will get what is coming to him.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Maybe you should do some research...

AUTHOR: Ami - (Canada)

I am also an ex-employee of this call-centre owner, Jeff Drutz. I find it insulting that someone who worked for him is insulting the business - after all, YOU decided to work for the company, YOU didn't like what they did, and that didn't see to stop you, and YOU obviously were good at what you did because you said yourself that employees that didn't make sales were gone within a week.

I worked for Jeff for over 2 years - and he runs his business well. I myself have been on the Ramada Florida vacation, and I had a blast. In fact, I'm going again in November. I also find it cruel to critisize so harshly a man that paid you, on time, every week. If you didn't like working there, go back to school and get a better job and quit your complaining!

I also find it rather amusing that you believe that the holiday they are selling is "crap". Have you ever been on the vacation? Have you ever personally known anyone to take it? Purchasing a vacation is like buying a shirt - sometimes, you get a dud and the threads come loose after one wash. You then return the shirt to the store, complaining that it's a piece of "crap".

It's funny to note that if the shirt hadn't fallen apart, you would not have gone back to the store to praise them for their workmanship.
To sum it up, instead of complaining about a job you hated, and you thought was a scam, shouldn't you have gone out to look for something else? Also, what's worse; a person who doesn't know they are working for a crooked company and stays, or a person who THINK'S they're working for a crooked company, and stays "just because they need the money"? Well, let me tell you, I worked for Jeff, and he has integrety. You, however, obviously do not.
