Rapid Tow RIPS OFF AGAIN Las Vegas, Nevada

Today, August 4, 2012, I rented a U-haul to go pick up some material. I drove it home and parked on the road in front of the driveway to load some stuff. Because of the length of the trailer and the truck, I was about 2 feet in the red no parking painted on the curb. I loaded some tools and went into the house to tell my wife that I was ready to go and picked up some addresses.

When I went out to load the addresses into my GPS, my truck was gone. I was not in the house over ten minutes. I called the police and filed a stolen vichicle report. They came right out and took all my information and started their search. Within a half an hour they found my truck at Rapid Tow.

After several attempts, I was able to contact them. The man on the phone said it would be $175.00 and I could come pick it up. When I got there, the bill was up to $236.00 and they only take cash.

The office is a run down shambles in a back lot (does not look like an up and up business to me).
I paid my bill and indicated that they would be hearing from my attorney. He came back with an interesting statement that he wasn't worried as the owner of the company was a judge in Las Vegas.

I indicated that I didn't care as what they did was wrong and I'm not going to let it drop as they are a ripoff company.
