My son went into their finance departmet to refinance his car into his name, since it is under both our names now. The application was processed, accepted and contract issued, signed by Raymond Chevrolet Finance manager. First payment to be due in 45 days.

4 weeks go by and I get a call from GMAC stating payment was past due and that there was no record or Raymond Chevy having done the refinance.

My son called the Finance dept and was told the loan did not go through and that someone should of called him 3 weeks ago to let him know, that he was sorry, they must of forgotten to call.

So here we are, 2 months car payments due in one shot and late fees to boot!

I used to think they were the best dealer in Lake County, but I see they are now like everybody else, out to screw you over!

I really find it hard to believe that Raymond Chevrolet ripped you off. According to your complaint they never took any money from you. They told me and my wife that they were going to everything possible to get us approved. We did sign a delivery form that stated that we may not get approved and that we may have to return the vehicle. It also stated that they would refund 100% of our money.
Raymond Chevrolet was able to get us a better rate than our credit union.

If your son had poor credit I am sure he knew the risk. It appears that they let your son drive a car for free.

I dont normally write about my experience and a buyer, but I must tell everyone that my wife and I went into see why everyone loves Raymond Chevrolet.

I was suprised that everyone was smiling and very friendly. It appeared that despite the news about our economy and the credit crisis everyone here was very optimistic. The sales consultant help me and my wife decide on which vehicle was right for our family. My wife wins this one hands down.

The sales managers were very helpful in assisting the sales consultant in our purchase. "WOW" thats what I can say about my experience about Raymond Chevrolet. The finance process went smooth and it was very consumer friendly. I normally finance with my Credit Union, but Raymond was able to get me rates lower than what I expected.

I want to tell everyone that I meet to take the time to see why Everyone Loves Raymond Chevrolet. At the time of delivery the salesperson explained all the new gadgets that our new vehicle had on it. There is a lot of fancy stuff that we did not have on our previous vehicle.
