I was offered an engineering position at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson Arizona and part of that offer was to have me sign a one year contract that would require me to work for the one year or I'd have to repay my relocation and signing bonus of $25,000.00. It seemed like a good offer and I accepted the position and started work on April 4, 2005. During the course of my employ and after working only a few months, and during a work visit to Germany to work at a partner defense contractor, Diehl BGT Defence in Ueberlingen Germany, my supervisor assaulted me as we went to have lunch on Monday July 25, 2005. Since we flew in that Sunday and arrived that morning to work, we were still tired but worked anyway and as typical, we went to leave for lunch in the cafeteria. As we left the lab and headed to descend the marble stairs to leave that building, my supervisor Roger Goode, tripped me from behind as I descended the top stair of the flight of stairs by hooking my foot as I went to step down. Doing this caused me to nearly go head first down the steps and it forced me to pick up my feet in order to stay upright and to jump half way down the stairs not to fall. Once landing there it was clear I would not be able to catch my balance and I had to jump the rest of the way down the 20 foot flight of stairs onto the floor below. The ceilings in this building were very tall, and as I said this was a marble stair, not that wood or metal would have been more forgiving. Following this my supervisor became erratic, harassing me as I tried to work, attempting to make me feel uncomfortable by coming over to drum his fingers on the PC sitting next to my head, parading around the lab like a chicken with his elbows stuck out to his sides and finally later realizing I knew what he had done, attempting to make it all better by offering me additional compensation. I managed to make it home later in the week, taking a different flight than him and after waiting for weeks to hear what was going to be done about it, I finally resigned fearing for my safety obviously. After filing numerous complaints, and complaining to Raytheon about it, nothing was ever done and they still expected me to repay them the money they spent to bring me to Arizona and Germany to essentially murder me. I found the whole charade and insult incredible and I would strongly advise ANYONE against working for this company especially if you are disabled or a victim of violence since these people are criminals and you will NOT be safe there.
