During this Christmas season, I purchase Kotton Mouth Kings ticket for my husband and I to attend a concert at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA. I purchased the tickets online for $91.00 + fees of course per ticket.

I made this purchase on the 10th of December and the concert was to be on the 28th of December. I called Razorgator 3 times before I pretty much gave up that I was going to receive these before Christmas as I was promised. 2 days after Christmas I received the tickets, which completely screwed up my husband's Christmas present.

When I got the tickets, the admission on them said $20.00. I was shocked that I had just paid $91.00 plus fees (total $106.00) for each ticket that should have cost me roughly the same amount plus the ticket sellers commision!

I contacted Razorgator and questioned them regarding this. First before contacting them I asked the Canyon Club how much they were charging at the door for the event. They were charging $27.50, which my tickets were still roughly more than a 300% mark up.

In fairness, I called to see if they were willing to make things right by me. First because they didn't get the tickets to me by the date promised and secondly because they had completely gouged me! The response given was "you purchased the tickets at fair market value." This completely doesn't make sense, especially since this was not a sold out concert and the forum was still selling tickets at a far cheaper price.

I am completely appalled that this can even happen. If I were to by these tickets and turn around and sell them for upwards for 300% mark up, I would be accused of scalping tickets and could be thrown in jail. How is this even legal and how does anyone decide what fair market value of a ticket is?
