The way the scheme works is that you deposit the check and it gets bounced around to several different banks and it appears to clear. After you speak t the assigned agent he tells you to send the tax amount ($3,850.00) via Money Order.

You never hear from them and your deposit bounces, now you are, not only the Money order amount but also the bounce fees for the empty deposit!
