RBMG, ripoff fraudulant credit reporting Columbia South Carolina

After a forebearance agreement with them ended (6/04) and we tried to modify our loan or make payment arrangements they told us we didn't qualify. They wanted a ridiculous amount of money to bring us current or they would foreclose on our mortgage.

We then began the process of refinancing the loan through other companies. Apparently during our forebearance agreement they reported to the credit bureau that we hadn't made a mortgage payment since 2/04 - when in fact we had made all of our payments and on time according to the agreement. Finally we got a loan and they were paid off on 9/2/04, our last payment to them was on 6/04 because they told us they could only accept $5.400 nothing less.

We would have started making our normal payments at that time but they would not accept it. We got charged lawyer fees from their lawyer, because they said we were behind in payments since Feb. (not true), we should get our money back for those fees. It was their company that screwed up the bookeeping! They have ruined our credit and have failed to correct it! I have a payment history from them that shows all of our payments up until 6/04 and I still can't get this corrected! Beware of this company!
