This company, is ridiculous they actually sell you everything over the phone and sound so good.  But when you really get to notice, they set you up with a refurbished screen and printers.  Also a Nec or Dell PC from 1995 and old version of windows.  The equipment total cost $5,760  the amount it really cost, about $1900..  They are a Rip off.. DO not like their customer service and i think they work out of their moms basement, i could not find any info of where they are located and also how long they been in business.. If you do not want to get scammed DONOT BUY from these people!!

Also they locked me into a 3 yr contract with their merchant services..  They suck!!

Mixcat and Reboot only loaded licensed PC's.

AUTHOR: EX RBS Employee - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 24, 2012

After meeting with Pete it was determined that the PC's they loaded were HP, IBM and Dell so those were completely legal in all shapes and forms as those brands had a legal Microsoft sticker on them for the activation code.

MIXCAT is a quality company in the Kissimmee area and the  owner is a stand up guy.  He took the time today to meet and clear up any confusion.

Mixcat did not work on any of the mini's in question.

I MAKE NO CLAIMS THAT CANNOT BE PROVED - CALL MICROSOFT and IBM

AUTHOR: EX RBS Employee - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 24, 2012

This is a anonymous post, threatening to give names... threatening to call attorneys... dumb moves.

lets have the customers call their attorneys and if I get involved I know who has what PC and who to contact at Microsoft.  If you read my post I never said the brand name PC's were illegal on their OS just the Mini's that use the laptop style hard drives and ram.

If any existing customer of RBS is curious call your manufacturer of the PC you have and ask who it was registered to.  Most name brands register for warranties.   Also ask how old it is and take the cover off and look for Gun Metal colored spray paint that does not match the rest of the case as they did not paint inside the PC or the overlapping parts.

On the Windows XP call Microsoft and have them look up the activation and see if it is legal.

THE BRANDS IN QUESTION ARE NETTOP MINI'S THEY HAVE NO WINDOWS LICENSE.  OTHER BRAND SOLD BY RBS IS ZOLTAC.

Mixcat Computers stands with RBS of South Florida

AUTHOR: Mixcat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 24, 2012

Im Peter Privitera owner of Mixcat computers and former partner of Reboot IT LLC

This claim is unreasonable and unfair only seeking to damage the companies listed.
Im not going to say the ex-employees name who is in question unless this gets blown out of proportion.  You know who you are and I wont say anything that will damage your career in IT.  You clearly are upset and don't seem to mind hurting our brands.  You have always been there with advice for me and I for you. I always went above and beyond to take care of you even when there was hardly anything that came in.  I even gave you a lot of equipment to help you start off your own business and let you go work for one of my clients (the one in question).

The person claiming that we installed pirated copies of Microsoft Windows, used to work for us and knows these are OEM (Dell, IBM & HP) with keys on the boxes.  If there was anything pirated, he did the install.

RBS is one of our valued customers, and when we moved you chose to go work for them. You know very well,  I have always have gone above and beyond for you and my customers.  I can not believe you emailed me yesterday, with the nerve to ask me for work. In going to call you again, answer your phone..  If you don't answer my calls, I will stop by and we can talk about this.Don't through away friendship over business and the lack of work for your skills.

Thanks for letting me explain my side of the story,
-Pete Privitera

Spray Painted Used PC's

AUTHOR: EX RBS Employee - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, July 23, 2012

Eric Smith and the other owner Kenny both take turns spray painting the cases of used IBM computers to pretend they look new to all of the customers.  They wrap them up in plastic and a little hand soap to make the smell go away so the customer does not smell fresh paint.

When systems are delivered they take the boxes back to RBS so the next schmuck thinks he is getting a new PC.

In fact the PC's are 6 to 10 year old computers, anyone with a PC from RBS flip it over use the service tag and contact the manufacturer as to who sold it new and when?

The contracts are fraud due to the RIPOFF of the used equipment, so anyone with a contract should be able to get out of it.

If the customer was lucky enough to ask for a mini pc they were purchased without hard drives ram or an operating system but at least new.

Rebootit who is now Mixcat a local shop loads them with hardware and pirates an illegal copy of Microsoft Windows XP onto them for RBS.  Same with most PC's at the RBS office have a pirated OS.  When confronted the owner Eric made the comment he would play dumb and blame the company he paid to do the work.

Installations are performed by techs with no formal company training on PC America or Aldelo, they are instructed to show the customer what they know and get out ASAP.

Eric stated his policy is do as little as possible and get on to the next client as fast as possible.

The 24 hour support promised is a joke.  They have no one in support, they have 1 tech... Joe and he works from his house and he checks a website for support calls when he feels like it.

Phone support? Call the company office... automated answering system it works if no one is downloading on the internet as thier VOIP phones require internet bandwidth.

IF yo get through you have 4 people working from the employment agency paid for by taxpayers not RBS they are temps....

Bottom line no service no support used equipment and every contract a case in court for fraud.

They have even asked installers to go to clients and call the police before they arrive to get equipment repo.....

Lastly RBS goes by many other names, I Love POS, and many others as their name is ruined from their own practices.

So not true

AUTHOR: Heather - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, July 20, 2012

I have been with this company for two years in a leasing contract and have had nothing but positive thing to say. Their customer service is friendly and efficient. Sometimes it takes a bit to get a hold of someone but once you do they always fix it. The computers are not Dell or PC they are IBM a trusted company thats been around for 40 years. They come and install everything for you and train you on the software which is nothing but useful. I pay $99 a month for 48 months and that adds up to about $4700 and I dont know about you but I want quality not something cheap thats going to break in a year. And you've also seemed to fail to mention that that price includes everything like 24 hour tech support AND a warranty. I've had the system for 2 years and it has yet to have a problem. They are located in Kissimmee, Fl. All you have to do is ask people!!! But if you want my opinion I say go with them. It's the best way to go.

RBS of South Florida is Not a Scam!

AUTHOR: Reliable Business Solutions - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 20, 2012

We do not sell Dell or NEC products nor do we sell refurbished equipment unless that is what you ordered. If you purchased a used POS System we do not include onsite installation, so everything will be done over the phone. If you were to purchase or lease a new system: the entire system is brrand new with a 3 year warrenty, we offer an extended 2 year warranty from the manufacture and the system comes with techinical from both RBS and the manufacture.

If you were a true, real client with any troubles why is it that i report is recent and have not heard anything regarding any systems being down and wanting replacement or repair?
