 RCI Vacations is charging double the port charges for Cruises into Alaska and providing the lowest value for the highest charge. I have been a member of RCI Timeshare since 2004 and this will be the demise of business with RCI.  No longer will I do business with a company that lies to their customers regarding what is being offered in a "package deal."

The package consists of a 7 day resort stay or cruise, an extra 3-5 day resort stay and 5 discount coupons for hotel stays.  On numberous occasions I have called to try and use the discount hotel stays, to which I have found to be able to stay cheaper with a plethora of other hotels.  There is no discount here.  The extra 3-5 day resort stay, cost anywhere between and additional $50 to $500.00 plus.  So not really an extra anything.

Anytime you call, they are rude and leave you on hold for 30 minutes plus.  The cruise port fees for Alaska ended up costing $1k.  this is double what a cruiseline would charge individually.
