I have been hoodwinked! I thought I was dealing with one company in subscribing to some magazines. It turns out that I am now involved in several companies. They call and tell you they are the ones who are sending out your magazines. You think you are talking to the original one and low and behold the next month you have money being taken out of your account for things you do not want. I am almost 70 years old and this is coming out of my social security check. I can cancel for a huge fee. However, if I had the available cash to be the cancellation fees for these various companies, I would not need to cancel. You can not get blood from a turnip. What is a person to do? Is there any organization that helps consumers get out from under these ripoffs?

This is not a rebuttal but infact it is a report.I had a company call me up and say that I ordered these magazine and I needed to pay for them I ask them numerous times to please cancel me out, they promised me they would, but in fact they didn't. Then the last time I asked them to cancel me, they told me that it was a very long process and that it would cost me $200.00. I disputed the carge with my credit card company, so they turned me into Umbrella Recovery Team. which they are all on the same level with each other, every time they find in favor of the magazine company, I heard that you can turn them into the attorney General in their state and yours also the better business bureau. I heard this really helps can't hurt that's for sure.
