Reader's Club of America Took total advantage of us and ripped us off for magazines we never ordered or wanted! Nationwide

My husband manages all our bills and neglected to monitor charges that were posted by this unscrupuled company and they charged us $49.95 per month for 23 months without our knowlege. He simply paid as much as we could each month trying to reduce our balance as best we could. Once we realized what had happened we contacted Visa and they credited us for 3 months and said that's all they could do! We called Reader's Club number on our bill but all we were told is "you are paid in full" and they played some bogus recording for my husband that he claims he NEVER participated in. I do not know where to turn at this point and feel violated by this company. We are seniors on a fixed income and never requested magazines like "Parent's", Men's Health, Field and Stream", or ESPN which just started showing up at our home. They went diectly into our recycle bin. Any advise we could obtain would be welcomed.
