Said I was the 3rd prize winner of the annual Readers Digest Sweepstakes and had won $65k, and that the enclosed check for $3,056.75 (post dated 10/4/09) was to cover all clearing and processing fees.

The check, from Bank of America looks impressive, and is from FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC, 1700 PACIFIC AVE SUITE 1400 DALLAS TEXAS 75201. tHE CHECK WAS CHECK NUMBER 344795, AND

Claim number provided was: GQ-728495.

I was instructed to call Roger Benson - Director of Claims - at 514-561-9943, and though the responded said "welcome to Readers Digest", I had heard French first, followed by English and this was "fishey"..
