My son purchased a prepaid visa card for me as a birthday gift for $50.00 , I then got on the website offered and tried to register it and there was no place that I could find to register the card information and ended up puting my information in and all it did was produce a new issued card , this was not what I wanted , so I called and registered the card I had that was preloaded with the $50.00 my son had sent and went through the proccess on the automated system on the phone and it said I could use it as a credit card without full registering with my ss# and name ,address ect. so I go to WalMart and attempt to use it and it would not go through , so I call them and the women I spoke with is telling me that she is sorry but my name does not match with my ss# , so I asked to speak with a manager because I assured her this was MY name and my ss# and she insister=d it was not , and places me on hold , I sat on hold for 20 minutes waiting for a manager and finally hung up and called back , I explained to the man on the phone what had taken place and when he looked up my card information there was no record of my card # and the information for that card # was gone vanished along with my $50.00 , she had apperntly DELETED my card and any money associated with it . And he is telling me it cannot be retreived or found , so he tells me my son has to take the reciept and the card back to the retailer were he bought it and get his $50.00 back , I asked him how they (the retailer ) is going to know if the $50.00 had been spent on this and he assured me they would , we shall see but I will never use there services again and DO NOT recommend them , my $50.00 is just gone !! Thank you very much for the terrible customer serviceand for ripping me off Ready debit visa prepaid card , Ready Financial group !! Very disturbing !!
