While on vacation in Mexico, Nov 2008, my wife and I made the unfortunate choice to attend the sales pitch. After a long afternoon we relented and bought a plan that was 25 weeks that we could resell. They gave us a contact to do that.
After returning home the process of selling seemed easy, unfortunately it required a processing few, should have been a warning, then after 2 years they were never able to sell anything, and from what I can tell are now out of business.

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:

Real Club Timeshare Complaints

The timeshare industry has been into the lion’s mouth for the last couple of years, and it has generated lots of controversy and discussions in many forums and blogs on the web. However, since we’re living an economic downturn, anyone would expect that the timeshare sales collapse, but instead of that the sales seem to be increasing… but this comes with a trap: timeshare scams are increasing too. That leads us to the question: then, why keep people investing on timeshares?

Real Club Timeshare Scam

My wife and I purchased a Real Club Timeshare. All of the promises of being able to sell our weeks, ease of use and actual costs to us for future travel have proved false. They promised us high trading power with RCI and I have come to find out is we actually have terrible trading power that allows us very few options. I have paid over $5000 to date with a remaining balance of about 5k. I would like to be able to recover all monies spend on this fraudulent contract!
