Realgy Energy Services This company scammed me on the rate they quoted me for my electricty usage West Hartford Connecticut

This is one of those companies that says they can save you money on your electric supply charges.  So I switched from Commonwealth Edison to Realgy Energy Services for my electricty usage. I still get a bill from ComEd which includes the delivery services.  Realgy offered me in writing a 24 month contract at rate of .0485 for our electricty supply. (per KWH).  Well unfortunately the fine print of the agreement basically states they can charge you any additional charges they want to.  I cannot believe I went for it.  I guess I assumed since they were a ComEd authorized source of electricty that they would treat us legitimately.

I was with Spark Energy before I switched to Realgy and they ONLY charged me for the electricity I used.  I received a welcome email from Realgy after I signed up and  they had FAQ and the first one was ... Are there any hidden fees?  The answer was "In a word No, there are no hidden fees. You simply pay for the Electricity you use.".  Well that is an absolute lie.  They charge ancillaryservice fees, capacity, transmission or delivery  service, renewal or standard portfolio goals, losses, reconciliation, and applicable charges as identified by the Seller.

Well the way this is worded they can charge the moon to us.  So the first month I had the service, I complained, and they did give me a credit so that my total cost was .0485 times the kWH I used.  Then the last 2 months they changed their wording on the billing and they are now billing me a line item that says fixed rate = .0485 times the KWH used.  Then the next line item says "Additional charges", and it is some arbitrary amount they are charging me and now my electricty bill is higher than if I would have stayed with ComEd or Spark energy.  I am now paying .0635 overall charges for the electricity and I am sure they will be raising it up in the coming months.
 
These people are real crooks.  I recommend do not do business with these legal scam artists.  They are covered by their contract so that is why I say it is legal.  Now I am stuck with them for 2 years.  My agreement says I can terminate the contract early with an $80 fee, but guess what!  It also says they can charge additional fees besides the $80.00, and you know that they will do that.  I have no recourse when i get the bill.  I cannot withhold or dispute the payment because the billing is all part of the ComEd bill.  ComEd will do nothing for me. If I withhold payment, I will be assessed late charges and be in default. 
My advice is STAY AWAY from these ripoff artists.
