Well, where should I start?  I rented 2 movies on December 23, 2009.  We are big movie watchers, and we have a habit of returning movies, and while we are there we rent more.  According to Redbox we rented movies on December 24, 2009, and did not return the ones we already had out.  Of course they also told me that they do not charge until you return the movies, and we were charged for them on December 28, 2009...which was the first banking business day after we rented the movies (it was a long weekend due to Christmas).  Of course I was not charged anymore money after that until the first day February, this deduction from my checking account was the first I heard of the movies not being returned, no email, nothing until they charged me 52.44 for these movies I supposedly still have.  The real slap in the face is that they offered to refund half of my money, my rebuttal to that is "if I owe you the money why would you refund half?"  They have no customer service skills, and if they had a half a brain they would see that people keep having the same complaints...helloooo, maybe that should tell them something.  The Better Business Bureau has even revoked their membership because they refuse to resolve complaints.  I was advised by Redbox that I could contact my bank and report these as fraudulent charges, which I intend to do.  I have started a cause on Facebook titled Redbox is a rippoff, and I will be contacting an attorney tomorrow regarding a class action lawsuit.  To anybody that has been ripped off by these jerks please contact me.  My goal is to put them out of business, as far as I am concerned their business practices are unforgivable, and they need to be shown that together we can prevent companies that prey on consumers from continuing to operate in this country!
