The issue with this company started with my first order when over half of my snails (shipped without water; which IMO is not okay regardless of their hype about it being better), arrived DOA and I never received a response or credit from the company after my e-mails (which is the only way you can reach them because they're "busy").  I let that slide because it was less than $10 of product and everything else was in good condition.

My second order was a big mistake.  I should have learned from the first. The issue is that several days after I ordered  $160 worth of livestock from them they e-mailed me stating that the sun coral I ordered wouldn't be ready to go until early the next week.  I had two choices.  Either ship everything else but the sun coral and then pay for shipping AGAIN to have it sent at a later date or wait for everything.

Fine, it can all ship later I replied. I wasn't about to pay $40 twice because of something that is their problem.

So it comes in the middle of the following week and I am shocked at the appearance of the sun coral.  Anyone who is a hobbyist would never buy a coral in this condition, let alone at full price.  Even if they had waited 4 weeks to ship it to me this coral would not have been in good shape.  Over 90% of the body is skeletal, most of the heads that are there have half their skeleton showing and there's 4 barnacles (!!!!) that have taken residence in the coral as well.  So after I grumble about that I discover there's coral that's missing from the order.

The packing slip said something along the lines of "[Items did not meet our standards and were not shipped; you will receive an e-mail and store credit will be issued]" Store credit? For something I didn't even receive in the first place??  And secondly. "Items did not meet our standards"? Well I'd hate to see what that coral looked like then because the one that did meet their so called standards is awful. I have attached photos of the sun coral right out of the box still in it's shipping bag.

I have received no credit for the sun coral after e-mails with pictures that told within themselves what was horribly wrong with trying to pass the coral off as quality product and have yet to receive credit for the coral I didn't receive.

So at this point let me recap:

I paid for a product and did not receive it.  I was then offered store credit instead of a refund so they now have my money with no product received; to me this is a form of theft/scamming.  In addition I have yet to receive that store credit.

And-I paid full price for a coral that is by all means dead while I'm told it left in "good condition" while I know perfectly well that coral has been dying for possibly months and that shipping it would not in any way cause it to look as it does.  IMO this coral is DOA because the chances of it recovering from such poor keeping is unlikely.

They pull a sob story about how their business takes care of their families and they aren't "bad people" (judge of character vs. business quality has no correlation) so don't report them if there's a problem and don't leave a bad review because it could damage their business.  That alone should have been a warning sign to me.  Other companies that I've ordered with have always recommended that if I was happy or not, to leave feedback regardless.  Other companies I've ordered from have been twice the quality and help of this one.

Save yourself the trouble and spend the extra $30-$40 and go with Dr. Mac @ PEA or LiveAquaria. It might be more expensive but you aren't handing over money for literally nothing.

After dealing with all of this I still wouldn't shop here again.  However, Dionne made the experience 100xs less troublesome.  She received my photos and stated she would do a monetary refund for both the coral I did not receive and the sun coral that she stated should not have been sent to me.  Overall the experience was a pain but she made it better and for that I'm glad.  If I could figure a way to remove the report I would as it was mostly angry but I still think there are parts that stand true.  If you deal with an issue, get a hold of Dionne.
