RefurbDepot.com sold me a NEW TV that couldn't be repaired Brooklyn, , New York

I bought an LCD-TV from them and contrary to what their name suggests they did not refurbish it. NOR EVEN TEST IT. And they didn't call Samsung and give them the model/serial number and ask about the history of the set. If they had, they would have found out that Samsung hadn't decided whether to repair this set or to declare it unrepairable. AND Samsung denied me any guarantee at all. It was only after filing a complaint with the local TV consumer reporter that they reversed themselves and gave ma a guarantee. Being unable to repair the set, Samsung gave me a full refund.

Refurbdepot.com did nothing to help me and did not return my phone calls so I froze the credit card payment because of fraud. And I got nothing for the five months of agony that they put me through. Hundreds of dollars worth of my time and out of pocket expenses.

They are based in Brooklyn, NY where there seems to be an endemic policy of cheating customers. I have also dealt with Delta Magazines based in Brooklyn, NY which also tried to SCAM me. It would be well worth your while to visit the New York Attorney Generals website and read up about the 7 other Brooklyn camera companies that the Attorney General as levied a fine against for 'Bait and Switch' cheating.

Perhaps they should change Brooklyn's name from Kings County to Thieves County!!
