I was once a customer of this "company" many years ago and wasn't happy with them then and their strong arm tactics for collecting a debt. Well that went sour and I figured I'd never hear about them again. So I bought an SUV back in Nov. of 2003 when I was doing well and found out the hard way that they would be the company financing my purchace. Like a fool I neglected to ask who was going to be providing the financing and only after the payment book arrived did I learn that it was Relaible. OK, now while I was still doing good they were constantly sending me letters letting me know that they are caring, warm helpful and more than willing to help me in any possible if I needed it, fine, fine, fine.

Now, 2 years later I get laid off and begin to have some difficulties getting everything paid on time, due to the lack of the same income I was making, so I do ok for the most part and make the first 2 payments a bit late (with a phone call letting them know mind you) and then a situation arrises and the 3rd payment (in my unemployed state) is going to be late and I call and let them know and then they become very rude and demanding. At this point I am now 2 weeks late, after talking to them and telling them what's going on, something happens and I need an extra week to make the payment. I then get a call from a guy named Eric from the "legal" department telling me that if I do not have the payment in within 3 days they will be picking up "their" SUV. So I'm like. "this is the treatment I get after 2 years of perfect payment history, 3 weeks late and you begin to become threatning"? He replies "we have no grace period and your past payment history has no bearing on this, if we don't see payment in 3 days we'll be out to pick up our vehicle", I was blown away how quickly they went from, "call us if you need anything, we're here to help" to give us our money now or we're taking back our property. I ask him, "just like that, this is what I get, no help like you said in your letters, just give us our money or the truck huh" he's like "yes, sorry but we need one or the other". I was dumbfounded. I will never do any business with them ever again, and when I get the loan paid off you can be sure I will be getting the word out one way or another about this "caring, helpful" company. Don't do business with them, as soon as times become tough you will see them as they really are, loan sharks that care about nothing about your money!
