Reliable Remodeler Lead Referral Service Is A Rip-Off For Contractors Beaverton Oregon

I am a reputable licensed contractor. I have used other lead referral services (Service Magic, Bob Villas Renovation Experts) with ok to good success. I have been hounded by Reliable Remodelers to try them..so I signed up.

The process and the "leads" have been a joke. In fact, my best guess is its a total scam. First off you have to respond to "accept" a lead. Response to that takes a day or two (gee that defeats the concept of a fresh lead") . Next the lead info comes...I have had about 9 leads (paid about $500)...every single one was worthless. In fact I have documented 2 leads where folks did not even own the house, 1 lead where the owner just wanted an estimate on how much so he could see if his insurance policy was adequate, and the very last lead was for a basement remodel..when I called here is what was said "we don't have a basement, and I have not idea what remodeling you are talking about..we are not doing anything to our house" .

Ok, so the pattern of garbage info is very clear...I have emailed/called the company. When you speak to the reps, it becomes clear you have been ripped off. I spoke to a "manager" named Chris Camp. He was rude, refused to refund my money, double talked me, and basically blew me off. When I said I was going to file a complaint/take legal action, he said "knock yourself out".

This is a boiler room scam operation ..be ware. I would not do business with them. If fact, I should have done a little research before I signed up..they have other complaints against them for the same issues. This is way beyond an occasional set of information being wrong..its useless fraudulent information they charge top $ for, and then when you bring it to their attention, they tell you to stick it up your a**. The other lead referral services I have used are pretty good...and when you do have a problem, they have a customer service department that seems to really care about their product..they apologize, give you a credit, issue you new leads at no charge, etc.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY RELIABLE REMODELERS....Don't use their lead referral service !!!!
