Reliable Service Company El Cajon California

Called for service on air conditioner and explained problem to dispatcher (screw whole in coil). They said great, we'll send someone out tomorrow to fix it, told $89.00 service fee would be applied to repair.

Serviceman shows up and as we are walking out to the air conditioner and explaining the problem, he replies, "I can't fix it, you'll need a new air conditioner" and promptly begins to write up an invoice for the service call.

For a less than 5 minute "service call" we were charged $89.00 and the serviceman was given only the same information as dispatcher. He was basically sent out to collect the service fee.

We've since spoken to Carrier, the maker of the air conditioner, who says the tiny screw whole can be repaired.
