REM Sleep Solutions contracted me to deliver and install a Bed and train the customer. REM said they would pay me $400 dollars. I had not done business with them before, but my friend (employed by REM Sleep Solutions) told me he would make sure I got paid. I knew he was a good man and would pay me himself if needed.
So I completed and delivery of the bed 5 hrs away in Dallas TX.
REM sent me a check that bounced and have never corrected the issue, no matter how many phone calls or emails I make.
After 1 year of patience I have had to file this report.
I think REM Sleep Solutions is taking advantage that my friend died during this whole sad process and feel no longer responsible to pay me?

REM Sleep Solutions - Made things right.

I initially filed this report, but recently REM Sleep Solutions made things right. I was surprised to get a phone call and even more surprised to get the money I was owed. I do have to say, I don't think a lot of companies would make this right after 2 year...they must have been in some tight times due to the economy.
All I wanted was to get paid, they did that, now there back on the A list.

Why haven't you filed a Small Claims case against them?
If they gave you a check that bounced it would be rather hard for them to claim that they never made any agreement to pay you. Since it did bounce you can sue them for the amount of the check, any fees that were caused by it. Also, check your local laws to see if you are entitled to any additional punititive damages for them bouncing the check.
